FTOPS X Gets Underway This Week

The tenth edition of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) gets underway this week.
Full Tilt will be guaranteeing a total of $15 million dollars in prize money. The series will begin with a $200 + $16 No Limit Hold'em 6-Max event (hosted by Mike Matusow) that will have a total guaranteed prize pool of $1 million dollars. The event will then conclude on November 16th with the $500+$35 main event, which will have a total guaranteed prize pool of $2.5 million dollars.
There are a total of 25 events that comprise FTOPS X. There are a wide array of different events that will appeal to a wide cross-section of different players. There are Pot Limit Omaha tournaments. There are a wide variety of No Limit Hold'em tournaments. There are limit hold'em tournaments, HORSE tournaments and Razz tournaments. There is a two-day, $5k No Limit Hold'em event. There is a $1k No Limit Hold'em event. There is a $500 NLHE Shootout event. From top to bottom, there are events for amateur players and there are events for the pros. Many days have multiple events - usually there is a smaller buy-in event and then a larger buy-in event for the professionals.
Last year's main event was won by "dubbeemin". "dubbeemin" outlasted 4,879 other participants to take down the first place prize of $432k.
