2009 Bonus Code Offers from Full Tilt Poker
 |

Pokerstars may be twice as big as Full Tilt Poker, but when it comes to initial sign-up bonuses, Full Tilt Poker wins hands-down. The reason is easy enough to see - Pokerstars is so big and so well-known that they don't have to offer lucrative bonuses to entice people to play on their site. New customers just come via their aggressive marketing campaigns and through positive word of mouth.
Full Tilt Poker has grown into a monster (the second largest online poker network in the world) due to a number of aggressive initiatives of their own.
One of their biggest selling features - their 100% sign-up bonus of up to $600.
Full Tilt Poker was one of the first major online poker rooms to offer such a lucrative bonus. Many competing sites have been forced to up their bonus offers in order to compete with Full Tilt.
As far as I know, Full Tilt has no plans of changing their sign-up bonus structure in 2009. If you don't yet have an account at Full Tilt Poker, then let me share with you the details of the 100% sign-up bonus that they are currently offering.
First off, this is a matching bonus that is available to new customers.
This means that Full Tilt will match the size of your initial deposit with a matching bonus of up to $600.

In order to maximize the size of your bonus, you need to deposit at least $600. If you choose to deposit just $50 initially, then you will be awarded with a matching bonus of $50. Keep this in mind when you are depositing for the first time on the site.
In order to qualify for this bonus, a player must enter THEKING during the sign-up process to qualify. You will be prompted for a Full Tilt Poker referral code - at this stage, be sure to enter THEKING.
The bonus will be awarded in increments of $20 or 10%, whichever comes first.
So if you deposit $250, then you would receive your bonus in $20 increments until you earn the entirety of the bonus.
If you deposit $50, then you would receive your bonus in $5 increments.
Full Tilt allows you 120 days to fully earn your bonus. After that, any unearned bonus money is forfeited.
How do you "earn" a bonus at Full Tilt Poker?
Through participation in real-money cash games, SNGs and MTTs.
A player who is dealt cards in a real-money cash game will earn 1 FTP (Full Tilt Point) for every dollar in rake that is taken from the pot. A player can earn partial points if less than a dollar is raked. Up to three points can be earned in one hand.
For tournaments and Sit and Go's, every dollar in tournament fees that is paid results in seven points being earned. There is no limit on the number of points that you can earn in a SNG or MTT (Multi-Table Tournament).
Each FTP is worth $0.06 to you.
Full Tilt Poker is going to be offering a number of attractive promotions in 2009. If you don't already have an account at Full Tilt Poker, then what are you waiting for?
Don't forget - enter THEKING during the sign-up process to qualify for a 100% sign-up bonus of up to $600.
