There is no rule that says that you can't open an account to take advantage of the bonus offer and to test out the site.
Once you have earned your bonus, there is nothing stopping you from taking your money and moving on to the next room.
The online poker industry is EXTREMELY competitive, and companies have no qualms about shelling out hundreds of dollars in initial bonus offers to try to get people to play on their sites.
These poker rooms make untold millions every year - why shouldn't a player take advantage of the offers that the rooms themselves are offering?
Last time that I checked, there wasn't a rule that said you must play on a site for six months in order to qualify for your bonus. Once you earn your bonus, that's it - it's yours.
Poker rooms may frown upon people who sign up for an account, only to earn the bonus and move on to another site. That being said, there are absolutely no rules against it either.
Taking advantage of competing bonus offers is a great way to build up your bankroll, especially if you are just starting out in the world of poker.
