Pokerstars Opens Its Doors to Italian Players

It was a long time coming, but Italian players are finally able to play (legally) again on Pokerstars.
For a long while, sites such as Pokerstars were unable to cater to Italian players.
The reason? The Italian government banned over 800 "online poker and gaming sites" in 2006. Italian ISPs blocked Italian residents from accessing the sites, and many players were unable to play on sites such as Pokerstars.
