What's the Difference Between a Pokerstars Bonus and Marketing Code
 |

This is one of the most popular questions that this site receives, so I thought that I would answer the question with a full-length article.
When you are signing up and depositing on Pokerstars, there are two codes that a person uses - the "Pokerstars Marketing Code" and the "Pokerstars Bonus Code".
The "Pokerstars Marketing Code" is used to tell Pokerstars who referred you to their site.
For instance, our "marketing code" is POKER-KING - if you were referred to Pokerstars through this site, then you would enter POKER-KING when prompted for your "Pokerstars Marketing Code".
The "Pokerstars bonus code" is completely different.
This code is entered when you have already signed up for an account, and are looking to make your first deposit.
In order to qualify for the 100% bonus of up to $600, you need to enter STARS600 when depositing.
You will see the "bonus code" field under the area in which you are entering your deposit details.
The "bonus code" field can also be used to take advantage of future reload bonuses that Pokerstars offers from time to time.
In case you were wondering about the difference between a Pokerstars Marketing Code and a Pokerstars Bonus Code - well, now you know.
