Is It Too Late to Enter a Bonus Code? I've Already Signed Up!
 |

This is one of the most common questions that is asked of us (when it comes to poker bonuses), so I thought that I would spend an entire post addressing this issue.
Most of the people who ask us this question fall into one of two different categories:
1. Those who didn't become aware of a bonus offer until after having signed up
2. Those who forgot to enter a bonus code during the sign-up process (it happens).
So, you have already signed up for an account on your favorite site, and you forgot to enter your bonus code?
First off - does this mean that you are going to miss out on the bonus?
The answer to that - no.
Bonus codes are generally used to track where a player came from, and don't necessarily entitle you to a better bonus offer (though sometimes there are better bonus offers available if you enter a certain code).
In the case of a site like Full Tilt Poker, forgetting to enter a bonus code will not have an impact on the size of the bonus that you can potentially receive.
As far as I am aware, the 100% bonus offer of up to $600 is standard, and entering or not entering a bonus code doesn't change that.
Next - can I go back and enter the bonus code after signing up for an account?
As I said, in most cases entering a bonus code won't affect the size of your bonus offer.
If entering a specific code DOES entitle you to a better offer, then I would suggest sending an email to the poker room that you have just signed up at.
Tell them what happened, and in many cases they will upgrade your bonus offer accordingly. I doubt that they will want to lose a new customer, so I think that the odds of them upgrading you would be very high.
