Bonuses Have a Limited Shelf Life, So Pay Attention
 |

One thing that you may or may not know about initial deposit bonuses at online poker rooms is that they have a limited shelf life.
By this, I mean that they will always expire by a certain date.
For instance, Full Tilt Poker will give you a bonus of up to $600 when you first sign up and deposit on the site.
However, what you should also know is that you only have 120 days from the date of your INITIAL deposit on the site to earn as much of your bonus money as possible.
Many people will deposit, qualify for their bonus and then drift away from the online poker room for a while, only to come back and discover that their bonus has expired.
If you are working off bonuses at multiple rooms at once (many people do this), you need to stay organized. There is really no point in taking advantage of bonus offers if you are just going to let them expire.
Here is some advice for you:
1) Don't make your initial deposit on a site just before you leave on a vacation. You will almost definitely forget about your outstanding bonus until it is too late.
2) Write down your bonus expiration dates on a calendar.
3) Don't try to qualify for more than 2 bonuses at all - you will get bogged down and likely won't be able to work off all of the bonuses.

Online poker is like a business - we want to increase our profits as much as possible.
So, in that respect, you need to stay organized so that you can make as much free money as possible.
If you aren't organized, then you will just be throwing money away.
