Club WPT $10K Guaranteed Tournament - May 29th, 2011

On Sunday, May 29th Club WPT (World Poker Tour) is featuring a $10,000 Guaranteed Cash Poker Tournament. First prize winner will walk away with $1,000. Everyone has a pretty good chance of winning cash as 250 people in total are getting paid (250th place wins $20).

The direct buy-in for this event is 500 Tournament Points or you can qualify through a satellite. Satellites run 4 times per day at 9:30am, 12:30pm, 6:30pm and 10:30pm (all times are ET). The entry fee for a satellite is 10 Tournament Points and top 10 finishers in each satellite win a ticket to the $10K main event.

So what exactly are Club WPT Tournament Points?

Tournament Points or TPs are a form of currency at Club WPT. They are easily acquired. All players start with 500 TPs in their account. If a player’s balance drops below 500, each night at midnight Eastern Time their account is reset back to 500. In order to participate in high-stake tournaments you will need a lot of points. In order to acquire points you will need to win them in tournaments. You can also play in ClubWPT Free-rolls and win points without investing any.

Club WPT Tournament Points are not transferable and they do not have any monetary value.
