So how does one get to the PCA? Well, you could always fly there and pay the $10k-plus buy-in. But the best way to claim a seat at this high-profile event is to win one, and PokerStars is giving clients a number of ways to do that.

In order to celebrate ten years of great success and to thank their many clients, PokerStars is hosting ten distinct events. As of this writing, eight of them are still a big surprise. PokerStars is revealing this information over time.

The second event is the $10M Sunday Million, which takes place on Sunday, December 18.

The first event, and the one we’re most excited about, is the 2012 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure 100-seat give-away. This huge event starts on Tuesday, November 1 and it doesn’t finish up until Sunday, December 11.

How to Participate in the 10th Anniversary PCA Giveaway:

If you don’t have an account yet, open one, and then make at least the minimum deposit, which is usually just $10. After you’ve signed up and logged into the client, there are three different ways to take part in the promotion:

• Freerolls — They cost nothing to enter, and a new one starts every 10 minutes.

• $0.10 Buy-in — A new $0.10 tournament starts 5 minutes past every hour.

• 10 FPP — These tourneys cost just 10 Frequent Player Points, and a new one starts 35 minutes past every hour.

Each freeroll sends the top ten finishers to the weekly finals. Each $0.10 and 10 FPP tournaments sends the top twenty finishers. Weekly finals take place on Sundays at 06:00 ET and 16:00 ET, and you get to choose which.
