Such an event, the L.A. Poker Classic, starts on Friday, February 24, and runs through Leap Day, Wednesday, February 29. Each seat costs a whopping ten grand, but the winner walks away with a cool million guaranteed.
Most people can’t afford $10K to attend a poker tournament.

The Prize Package
The winner of the main LAPC satellite receives the buy-in and tournament fee, which are $9,600 + $400. The winner also receives $1,000 in cash, which they can use for travel, room and board, or spend in any manner they see fit.
