Chili Poker - Irish Open 2012

The largest and richest poker event in Ireland each year is the popular Irish Open. The 2012 edition promises to be bigger and better than ever before, and the entire tournament is open to any poker player that pays the buy-in.
Founded in 1981 by famed bookmaker Terry Rogers, the Irish Poker Open is the longest running No-Limit Texas Hold 'em tournament in Europe, and in the world, it is second only to the annual World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.
When & Where
The 2012 Irish Open is four full days long, beginning on Friday, April 6 and concluding on Monday, April 9. The tournament, as well as many of the side events, takes place at the luxury four-star Burlington Hotel in Dublin.
In Ireland, this is Easter Bank Holiday weekend. In addition to the Main Event and the 100,000 Sole Survivor promotion, therell be festival atmosphere, including live music and entertainment suitable for the entire family.
How to Participate
The most direct way to participate in the 2012 Irish Open of Poker is to pay the 3,200 + 300 buy-in, and then simply show up the morning of the event. Of course, that proposition may simply be too expensive for most of us.
Fortunately, Chili Poker is providing an alternative through its 2012 Irish Open qualification program, which awards all-inclusive prize packages worth more than 4,600 (~$6,000) that include the following aspects:
3,200 + 300 Main Event Buy-In
655 for travel and spending cash
395 for 5 nights accommodation including breakfast
50 handling fees
Chili Poker will award the prize packages through three distinct satellite structures:
Structure A
Structure A guarantees at least 2 prize packages from the first Super Satellite. The buy-in is 200 + 15 freezeout. The Weekly Super Satellites, which feed the Super Satellites, occur weekly on Sundays at 20:00 GMT.
Structure B
Structure B guarantees at least 2 prize packages from the first Super Satellite. The buy-in is 60 + 6 re-buy and add-on. The Weekly Super Satellites, which feed the Super Satellites, occur weekly on Tuesdays at 20:00 GMT.
Structure C
Structure C guarantees at least 2 prize packages from the first Super Satellite. The buy-in is 175 + 12 freezeout. The Weekly Super Satellites, which feed the Super Satellites, occur weekly on Thursdays at 20:00 GMT.
