Full Tilt Poker originally opened for business in 2004 at the height of the poker boom. They have scratched and clawed their way to become the number two online poker room in the world (behind Pokerstars, of course.)

How did they do it?

The company used a number of different marketing schemes to attract clients, but likely the biggest carrot that was dangled in front of the perspective customers face was the 100% Bonus Up to $600. Other companies have started to follow suit, but Full Tilt Poker was one of the first company's in the industry to offer such an aggressive sign-up bonus.

In order to qualify for the 100% bonus, simply enter THEKING during the sign-up process. This bonus is only available to new customers of the site who are making their very first deposit.



This is a matching bonus, meaning that Full Tilt Poker will match the size of your initial deposit with a 100% bonus. This means that if you deposit $50, then Full Tilt Poker will award you with a $50 bonus. If you deposit a total of $600 (the maximum allowable), then you would qualify for the full $600 bonus.

This is a partial release bonus, meaning that the bonus will be released to you in chunks as you earn it.

How do you earn it? Through participation in real money cash games, SNGs (Sit and Gos) or MTTs (Multi-Table Tournaments).

The more that you play, the faster you earn your bonus. Bonuses are released in 10% chunks, or $20 at a time, whichever is first. So if you deposited $600 and received a 100% bonus, then you would receive your bonus in $20 increments. If you deposited $100 and received a $100 bonus, then you would receive your bonus in $10 increments. You earn your bonus by earning Full Tilt Points. For each dollar that is raked in a real money cash game, you will receive 1 Full Tilt Point, which is equal to $0.06. So if there is a big pot at your table and there is $3 of rake taken from the hand, then you will receive 3 Full Tilt Points (which is the maximum that you can earn in any cash game hand.) You don't need to be involved in the showdown to earn the points - you simply earn points if you are dealt cards in that hand.

As mentioned, you can also earn your bonus through participation in real money SNGs or MTTs. For each dollar paid in SNG or MTT fees, you will receive 7 Full Tilt Points. There is no limit to the number of Full Tilt Points that you can receive when you play in a SNG or MTT. So, for instance, if you play in a $30 + $3 SNG, then you would receive 21 Full Tilt Points. As mentioned, each point is worth $0.06, so you would be receiving $1.26 of your bonus for each $30 + $3 SNG that you participated in.



You have up to 120 days to earn your bonus.
